Patrice, Angelo
Danielle, Mimi, Angelo and Jo
Dear Branduardi-ans,
Yesterday evening at the meeting
point Restaurant 'Paon Royal' I met Mimi. We were just inside when Patrice and
Danielle joined us.
After we got to know each other (
I'm new in the group), naturally Angelo and his music was the point of
discussion.
The beginning of the concert was
like a morning in autumn, very quiet and a lot of mist followed by a
conference of comedian Angelo. Where he showed his knowledge about the wisdom
of life (read : (bad) girls, fun and adventure) and a confession about his age
( read : less fun with girls). When he ever gets 75 years old and no longer
can give swinging concerts his carrier as comedian will keep the public easily
entertained for 2 hours ! Unfortunately for Patrice he always spoke in French
instead of English.
Than a gentle shower came over us
with 'Il cantico delle creature' growing to storm like ' Il sultano di
Babilonia e la Prostituta'. and followed by the rest of the 'L'infinitamento
piccolo'-repertoire. Finishing this, Patrice had the opportunity to hand over
a beautiful report of his current tour so far to Angelo. Which he promised to
read. We're waiting for any reaction.
After the break Angelo gave a
glance of his most famous songs like La luna, Alla fiera dell' est, Cogli la
prima mela and La pulce d'aqua and Che io sia la faccia (indeed from his
first album from '74) The crowd was more standing up rather than to keep
seated.
Angelo even sang a part of the
Cantico in Dutch (but not a whole song) which was very much appreciated by the
public.
IT WAS JUST FANTASTIC. ANGELO WHEN
ARE YOU COMING BACK ?
After the concert we hoped to get
his signature. But where was he. Backstage and unreachable.
Then we went to the parking,
following the car (I got some inside infomation) wich would transport him to
an unknown hotel.
And we had good luck , he was
still in the main hall. After getting signatures we were able to make
some photographs with
Angelo. Unfortunately Patrice
had made a great knot with her camera , clothing and scarf so that after a big
struggle
of serveral minutes I could get a
picture of her with the master. He seemed tired and thirsty.
After a good drink we went home,
also tired but very satisfied. It was after 1.00h in the morning. His car (with
beautiful female driver) still didn't leave ; Angelo must have been very
thirsty (read : ....)

Cari Branduardi - ans,
Ieri sera al Ristorante del punto della riunione ' Paon Royal' ho incontrato
Mimi. Noi eravamo stati appena dentro quando Patrice e Danielle ci
congiunsero.
Dopo di che noi ci siamo presentati (io sono nuovo nel gruppo), naturalmente
Angelo e la sua musica erano il punto di discussione.
L'inizio del concerto era come
una mattina in autunno, molto quiete e molta nebbia seguite da una
conferenza di attore comico Angelo. Dove lui mostrò la sua conoscenza sulla
saggezza della vita (legga: (cattivo) ragazze, divertimento ed avventura) ed
una confessione sulla sua età (legga: divertente con ragazze). Quando lui
mai diventa 75 anni vecchio e più può dare penzolando concerti il suo
corriere come attore comico terrà il pubblico intrattenuto facilmente per 2
ore! Sfortunatamente per Patrice lui ha parlato in francese invece
dell'inglese .
Che una doccia gentile ci venne su con ' Il cantico delle creature'
diventando temporale con 'Il sultano di Babilonia e la Prostituta'. e
seguì dal resto del ' il piccolo' di L'infinitamento - il repertorio.
Finendo questo, Patrice aveva l'opportunità di dare su finora un bel libro
del tour corrente ad Angelo. Quale lui promise di leggere. Noi stiamo
aspettando qualche reazione.
Dopo che l'interruzione Angelo
diede un sguardo delle sue canzoni più famose come la luna di La, Alla
fiera dell' est, Cogli la prima mela e d'aqua di pulce di L'e Che io sia la
faccia (davvero dal suo primo album da ' 74) La folla era su in piedi
piuttosto che stare seduti.
Angelo comunque cantò una parte del Cantico in olandese (ma non una canzone
intera)che è stato apprezzato moltissimo dal pubblico.
ERA STATO APPENA FANTASTICO.
ANGELO QUANDO RITORNI PROSSIMAMENTE?
Dopo che il concerto noi
sperammo di trovare la sua firma. Ma dove era lui. Retroscena ed
inaccessibile.
Poi noi andammo al parcheggiare, mentre seguivamo la macchina (io trovai
degli informatori interni) che lo avrebbero trasportato ad un albergo
ignoto.
E noi avevamo la buon fortuna, lui era ancora nella sala principale. Dopo
avere trovato firme noi eravamo capaci di fare delle fotografie con Angelo.
Sfortunatamente Patrice aveva fatto un grande nodo con la sua macchina
fotografica, abbigliamento e sciarpa così che dopo una grande lotta di
minuti , io potrei trovare un ritratto di lei col Maestro. Lui sembrò
stanco ed assetato.
Dopo che una buona bibita che noi siamo andati a casa, anche stancò ma
molto soddisfatto. Era dopo 1.00h di mattina. La sua macchina (col bel
conducente femmina) ancora non andava via; Angelo ha dovuto avere
molto sete (legga:....)
